About the Artist

Behind the name "Ibenart" is Iben J. Gundelach, an artist originating from

Denmark.

"Quite some years ago now I visited the islands of Hawaii for the first time

and found myself totally overwhelmed by nature and the colors to be found

there. My heart was opened and from the very core of my being I found

creativity and colors flowing out through pastels and acrylics - recourses

that I had never imagined to be within me.

It was the beginning of a new journey for me - a journey into the world of

art!

In my art today whether it is in a piece of jewelry or in a painting I like to

give every color and form the utmost interest and beauty, while I search and

explore the endless possibilities of the perfect combination! To me that is the

ultimate joy that truly mirrors the magic and mystery of our lives and what

we believe the truth to be.

In my artwork as well as in my personal life I am dedicated to the unified effort

of a world of deeper connection, understanding and acceptance between all

living beings on our precious "Mother Earth". The respect we give everything

in our daily routines really makes a difference!! So please, recycle as much as

possible and be kind to all the wonderful animals that surround us!!

Having traveled extensively through the world, blessed with years in both

Europe and Hawaii, I now reside in beautiful and magical Sedona, Arizona.

What a magnificent nature to be surrounded by in my continuous love of art.

Nature is my endless source of energy and inspiration, and with my art and

jewelry I would like to send out a wish for that deeper connection between all

- a tribute to ourselves and this wonderful life of ours!"
